CAPS Check ID Validation

Each Agency must register and receive a CAPS Check ID# before requesting CAPS Checks. If your agency has not registered, please visit Colorado.gov/ccu to start the process.

Please take the following steps to validate your CAPS Check ID number (ID#):

Use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari as your browser. Using Internet Explorer may cause a validation error.

TYPE (do not copy and paste) in your ID# in the exact format provided in your registration email (XXX-000000####).

Failure to type in the exact format, including the hyphen and capitalization, may result in a validation error.

Copying and pasting may inadvertently add spaces that will cause a validation error.
